Last year, 1999, was my first year at the kindergarten. It was all colouring, drawing, ABCs and 123s etc.

This year, 2000, I was introduced to something called HOMEWORK. Eeeeeeeekk!!!! My mom thinks its good (she was from Singapore, my father opined). My father thinks... well, he said that he didn't think he had any homework when he was 4 or 5 years old and in kindergarten (he is from Malaysia he added). Weird, I don't understand it when adults talk funny.

Anyway, the picture here is of my FIRST ever homework written in the Malay Language. It means "This is Ali's chicken.".
